Sylvia Hinz, Blockflöten: Lost in a dystopian story | 1.2.2022 Unerhörte Musik
Lost in a dystopian story is a program for recorder solo with & without tape from & around pandemic times, with works by composers from very different regions of the world. The expression of the selected music lies between anger, hope, strength and departure into new spheres.

Allegra Chamber Orchestra FestivELLE
A new work by Holly Winter will be premiered as part of this digital festival. This will be the culmination of the inaugural Composer Mentorship Program. Holly was selected from a pool of applicants to participate in this mentorship and workshop process for emerging composers of marginalized genders.

Concert: Atlantic / Canadian Women Composers
In celebration of the ACWC/AFCC’s 40th anniversary and International Women's Day, there will be a live-streamed concert from Halifax, Nova Scotia, on March 8th, 2021, at 1pm AST. It will be coming to you from The Music Room and will feature Jennifer King, performing piano works by Monica Pearce, Holly Winter, Alice Ping Yee Ho, Amy Brandon, Emily Doolittle, and Jean Coulthard.
This concert will feature Holly’s piece for solo piano, idle hands.

HATCH 2020
The 2020 online version of HATCH, Continuum’s summer mentorship program for early career composers, performers and conductor. In three online events, we feature the 2020 HATCH ensemble - Florence Laurain (flute), Madison Freed (clarinet), Nikki Joshi (percussion), Jackie Leung (piano), Roxanne Sicard (violin), and Allison Rich (cello). They will perform world premiere chamber works by HATCH composers Robyn Jacob, Holly Winter and David Foley. Additionally, our HATCH performers are featured as soloists in works by Ana Sokolovic, Harry Freedman, Michael Oesterle, Dinuk Wijeratne and HATCH mentor composers Anna Hostman and Emilie LeBel.
The World Premiere of Holly Winter’s nothing to do with explosions for electronics and chamber ensemble will take place on August 30th 7:00 pm EDT as part of watch parties on Continuum’s Facebook Page.
Tuckamore Festival
This year, Tuckamore Festival brings the show to you! Across ten days this August, through live streamed and only-for-Tuckamore curated performances, we’ll present alumni all stars and wonderful guest artists who can continue to make chamber music inside their homes. We’ll also feature new works by talented young artist composers, the entertaining and informative Tuckamore Talks series, several world premieres by Juno and Grammy nominated composers, as well as lots of opportunities for real-time audience interaction with artists. It’s an online festival that will move your spirit and create community and connection through music we all treasure!
